Dream Week | 7 days of hope ...

Tuesdays at Terry White Chemists

The terrific support of Dream Week hasn’t stopped at the department stores. This week until Saturday, Terry White Chemists will sell Tree of Dreams pins for $5 to help raise funds for Look Good…Feel Better. All their stores are participating. This means more cancer patients attending workshops and feeling better about themselves at such a critical time in their cancer journey.

This is a fabulous initiative for Dream Week to raise both funds and awareness for this free community service program. We applaud you Terry White Chemists.

Also check out this weeks Grazia, New Idea, Who and Woman’s Day. All spreading the good word about Dream Week.

Here we go, it’s finally here…Dream Week 2011

Time to go shopping!

If you buy any brand of lipstick from David Jones or Myer from now until Saturday, you are helping a cancer patient attend a free Look Good…Feel Better workshop.

Both retailers will donate $1 for each lipstick and lip gloss sale for the entire week. It’s time to buy a fashionable new lipstick or lipgloss and do something good for others.

You’ve never had a better reason to shop. See you in store!

Let’s face it, a little colour and shine makes luscious lips inviting even on a no makeup day. So come on girls grab a fabulous new shade or two for spring, and more importantly do our girlfriends a favour… those who are suffering and will continue to struggle with cancer. When they look good they do feel better… we all know that and they deserve and need our support. So purse those shiny lips and open your wallet and buy a gloss or a lipstick in Dream Week. You will look beautiful and feel even better with helping such a great cause.

The media have embraced the 3rd annual Dream Week with some great support

Australian House and Garden have already featured the fabulous Look Good…Feel Better program mentioning Dream Week. Click on the link to read the article Australian House & Garden – Look Good…Feel Better.

‘Madison online’ will soon go live with a behind the scenes look at giving back which will be profiling a Dream Week Committee member.

On Monday morning, 12 September you will be able to open the pages of Grazia, Woman’s Day, New Idea, OK, and Who Magazine and see us displayed in all our glory as all of them will be talking up everything Dream Week.

The monthly glossies have also joined in-force with Instyle, Marie Claire, Vogue, Madison, and Mindfood.

Future issues of Body and Soul, in the Sunday Telegraph, will profile two brave cancer patients and their journey, part of which included the great experience at a Look Good…Feel Better workshop.

Every year for our annual Dream Ball, the major publishing companies donate advertising pages that are auctioned at the event to raise funds. We thank most sincerely:
• ACP
• Pacific
• News Ltd
• Fairfax

They have donated a staggering amount of over $600,000 worth of media pages for auction. This is spectacular generosity!

Remember… only 11 days until Dream Week. Have you chosen your lipstick colour yet?
