About

The Dream Week Blog is where to find out what’s going on in the build up to 11 September 2011, which is when this year’s Dream Week will be officially launched Australia wide.

11 September 2011 to 17 September 2011 will be Dream Week - 7 days of hope.

Dream Week is a special seven day period in September devoted to raising funds and awareness for the Look Good…Feel Better program.

Dream Week – 7 days of hope offers exactly that – 7 days of hope. Hope to someone that is undergoing cancer treatment and is unsure how they will look in the morning. Hope to a cancer patient who has started to lose their confidence because their appearance is changing. Look Good…Feel Better workshops provide that hope, and Dream Week helps provide Look Good…Feel Better workshops.

Dream Week is seven days of activity across Australia that showcases the Look Good…Feel Better program and the difference it can make not only to a cancer patients life, but to the lives of the family of a cancer patient.

Look Good…Feel Better is a free national community service program dedicated to teaching cancer patients – through hands on experience – techniques to help restore their appearance and self image during chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

The program was founded and developed by the Australian cosmetic industry in May 1990 and continues to be a wonderful community initiative to this day. The program is administered through the registered charitable organisation, the Cancer Patients Foundation Ltd.
